Class Topics in Learn the Tarot 1
The goal of this class is for you to learn how to use the Tarot cards for yourself. Tarot offers ways for you to blend your inner and outer realities so you can live your life more creatively.
We will look at the Metaphors, Symbols, and Archetypes to help you better understand the Tarot and how the Tarot can help you understand yourself better and tap into your inner resources with more confidence.
We will utilize an interactive workshop format with short weekly “work” activities and readings to help you connect to your cards and their meanings. This class will require the Rider-Waite deck. You are welcome to borrow a deck during class from Mels Magic if you don't have one for class.

Building on Learn the Tarot 1, we will focus on learning ways to uncover deeper meanings of cards in our readings - dualism, astrology, and other metaphysical and spiritual resources. This will include considering how to write good questions when creating your own spreads.

Participants will co-create our approach to learning more about the layers and depth of meaning of cards from the Major Arcana.
Learn the Tarot 1 is required. You will be utilizing the materials and notes from Learn the Tarot 1 in class.
Please bring your Rider-Waite Tarot deck to class. This class will require the Rider-Waite deck. You are welcome to borrow a deck during class from Mels Magic if you don't have one for class.
